Energy efficient improvements of quality of life in Malko Tarnovo municipality

Malko Tarnovo is a small municipality to the far south-east of Bulgaria, bordering Turkey. Since April 2022 has started the implementation of the project Project Improved energy efficiency in the building of Prosveta 1927 Community Center - Gramatikovo village.

The project envisages architectural and construction activities that will be carried out in the building stock of the Culture and Community Center "Prosveta - 1927" to ensure the necessary class of energy efficiency, according to the results of the energy survey. The aim of the project is to improve the energy characteristics of the building and its transformation into a building with close to zero consumption. The project envisages the implementation of measures to increase energy efficiency, accompanying construction, assembly and finishing works, construction of new heating and ventilation installations and provision of a publicly accessible environment in the building of local cultural significance of the People s Community Center "Prosveta - 1927", with Gramatikovo, Malko Tarnovo Municipality.

Exchange of good practices with International with  the Norvegian partner Norsk Energy. Norsk Energy will provide experience and best practices from Norway. In addition, Norsk Energy will provide experts to perform further technical evaluation of the projects and to check all baseline data for the implementation of the activities for the construction works. This activity will be carried out in cooperation with the project management team of Malko Tarnovo Municipality.
